This is the best shop I have been too I have at 05 Jett a TDI and I used to take it to the dealer bit every time I did it was fixed but soon after something else would go wrong and I paid out the ass.. I started going to Shafer Diesel and since I have had no problems out of me car it runs great and any time anything happens it's fixed very quickly for a very reasonable price. I recommend this shop to anyone! And not to mention all the workers are very nice and personable and the owner Lawrence and his Wife Amanda will do anytime they came to make sure you pleased with there service! Also I would like to give a shout out to the awesome mechanic I felt with Travis he was very knowledgeable and did an awesome job!!

Competent mechanic, but my time is worth a lot more than making the trek down to Linden, Tn to be disappointed each time.
If you want to wait on your truck or car indefinitely to be fixed, this is the shop for you. Calling Lawrence does not help. He doesn't answer. Sending emails does not matter. He doesn't answer. The only way to check on your vehicle is to physically go to his shop and see if he has actually worked on it. Guess what the answer is when you get there? He may start working on it at that point to appease you if there is nothing else to do.
